SOMATIC MOVEMENT EDUCATION IN TROPICAL NATURE

  • To appreciate and manifest the profound connection between the extraordinary tropical natural environment and our bodies.
  • To refine internal sensations–their intensity and quality, in relation to our intentions, movements and the demands of the physical and social environment.
  • To identify and modify unconscious movement patterns that no longer respond to our present demands.
  • To develop movement versatility and a greater range of adaptation to life’s changing demands.
