Retreat center with beachfront location, 3.5 Km between Montezuma and Cabuya. Dedicated to the practice and research of Somatic Education, dance and the movement arts. SOMATIC DIALOG WITH BALLS, BAMBOO STICKS AND OUR OWN VOICES

Come to the Estudio LOS ALMENDROS, between Montezuma and Cabuya, in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica, for the 18th January Vacation-Workshop, when friends and colleagues meet to share current investigations on the Somarhythms’ approach to the use of balls, bamboo sticks, and other props that facilitate sensing and interacting with our inner functioning.
Facilities
The ESTUDIO LOS ALMENDROS, an open-air, covered building, with a professionally designed 72 m2 wood floor, suitable for about 12 to15 people moving at ease,
Rates: (subject to change) "Estudio" rental $15/hour for individuals and $25/hour for groups of 10.
The Estudio also has a dressing room, bathroom, kitchen, storage, upstairs bedroom. and high speed internet.
Available for long-term rentals. Rates upon discussion.
Accommodations
A TRADITIONAL COSTARICAN TWO-BEDROOM HOUSE recently renovated, 80 meters from the beach, with a large kitchen-dining-salon, a storage room, washing area, bathroom, corridor, large surrounding garden, fresh and with very good ventilation—eight windows and roof with heat insulation, totally furnished, equipped kitchen, telephone, high speed internet at $120/day, $450/week, $1200/month.
